Licesnsed Health Care Professionals
Did you know that:
-
30,000 people in the world will die today from preventable diseases?
-
More than half of these will be children under the age of five?
-
75% of the population in some developing countries live in remote villages?
-
Most of this population lives on less than $2.00 / day?
-
Many have never seen a doctor and could not afford treament if they did?
His Healing Hands has been sending short-term medical teams into these areas since 2002. Over 100,000 people have been treated, but the need is great. We can recurit more teams, but without an MD to head up our remote clinics we can not send a team to respond to the need. We need a cadre of dedicated medical doctors who will commit to helping us reach these people!
Is God calling you to use your special God given skill and training to provide physical treatment to these needy folks?
Make no mistake, our short-term teams all have a very long term impact. The physical and spitual healing does not stop when we leave. There are dozens of indigenous doctors who have worked alongside of our previous teams that are now rising to the task of following up after we have left.

If you presently feel uncomfortable in treating General Medicine patients in a cross-cultural developing country environment, we have some exciting help for you: We offer an annual training workshop at our headquarters lead by HHH veteran medical professionals to cover the most frequently asked questions. We encourage you to sign up for one of these workshops.
-
We also work with a non-profit organization called Instiute for International Medicine (INMED) who prepare medical professionals on-line to serve on medical missions in developing countries. Check it out at www.inmed.us/course.
If you can see yourself in any of the above situations, then you simply must look into joing the medical staff at Healing Hands. Please print our Professional Information form and submit it to us by Fax or in the mail. This will help us work with you to determine when and where your service will best fit our mutual needs.
