Asia & Pacific Projects
His Healing Hands has been ministering to the Asia and Pacific region for over 6 years. In fact, it is this region where the foundation first began its ministry. In 1999 a humble and inexperienced team of medical volunteers who desired to offer their talents and resources to the mission field found themselves heading for northern China. Since then, God has allowed and empowered the ministry of His Healing Hands to grow and sow.
Over the past five years HHH has been blessed to minister to many different people groups throughout the Asia and Pacific region. Projects have been conducted in 10 different nations and have involved various types of evangelistic, compassion, and encouragement ministries. The region includes many indigenous and ethnic tribes who have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It also includes the most densely populated regions in the world. Many of these people are also among the poorest and most underprivileged.
The Asia and Pacific region is also an area characterized by powerful and concentrated natural disasters. As part of what is known as the Ring of Fire, much of the region experiences a significant amount of volcanic and other tectonic activity. Earthquakes are common, and often result in widespread death and destruction in areas that are already isolated and impoverished. Severe tropical storms cause tidal surges, flooding and mudslides, with dozens of villages disappearing every year. As a result, there is a continuous need for competent mobile medical ministry, and HHH has been humbled to participate in numerous disaster relief projects within the region.
Within the Asia and Pacific region, HHH mobile medical clinics have been conducted in the most overcrowded of urban centers as well as in the remotest sections of jungle. Whatever level of ministry you are prepared for, there are blessings awaiting you in the Asia and Pacific region. From sharing Christ at a sunrise service on the beaches of Fiji, to conducting mobile medical clinics to earthquake victims in Java, to worshiping alongside hundreds of believers in China, to sharing with orphans in Vietnam, to joining HHH missionaries from the Philippines in ministry to Cambodia, there are as many different opportunities in the Asia and Pacific region as there are willing servants of God.
