What We Do 

Short-Term Medical Teams

Our directors and officers have developed a successful mobile clinic/team model that provides effective free medical care and spiritual support to ailing people in remote areas of the world, regardless of race, creed, or gender. We work along side local evangelical Christian partner organizations that sustain our work after we leave. A typical medical team consists of one or more medical doctors, one or more pharmacists, one or more registered nurses, and three or more administrative support staff. Native language translators are provided by our local Christian partners.

Indigenous Partnership Development

Any short-term benefit that our teams make would be short lived if there was not a qualified indigenous Christian organiztion on the ground to carry on the Lord's work after we leave. His Healing Hands spends as much time developing these indigenous partnerships as we do developing teams to go. It is important that these organizations share in our overall vision and are committed to growing with us in order to expand the ministry beyond their villages wherever God calls them to serve. In most cases these partnerships go beyond medical ministry and include such other outreach activities as church planting, pastor training and development, hygienic water systems, emergency food programs, preschool organization, and adult vocational training. Short-term medical ministries are just the catalyst that starts the expansion.
